BK + LOP

One of my first long-term projects in Los Angeles was one of my strangest.

In 2009, I answered a Craigslist ad to film a “band on tour” in New York city. On the flight home from that gig, I was offered a position to create video and graphic content for Lights Over Paris (and ultimately their record label) on a regular basis.

I embedded myself with LOP as they hired their other band members, wrote their songs, recorded their EP, went to the Super Bowl, “sold out” a nationwide tour, and was eventually served court papers onstage at the Viper Room. I pitched a TV series about their street team, oversaw all of their graphic design, and witnessed a lot of hotel rooms being destroyed.
