BK @ Luminar

In 2018, I moved from Los Angeles to the Bay Area to take a full time position as the Creative Producer at Luminar. I was initially hired for my experience in video production, but my role has expanded to include product photography, 3D rendering and contributing to design-centric projects for our web and software teams.

Luminar’s sensor creates high resolution 3D point clouds. In my time here, I’ve learned how to wrangle and optimize these 3D clouds in a way that’s visually understandable and appealing. By working closely with our data teams, I’m able to guide software development in the way that we visualize these clouds and animate them for video.
