In 2018, I moved from Los Angeles to the Bay Area to take a full time position as the Creative Producer at Luminar.
I was initially hired for my experience in video production, but my role expanded to include product photography, 3D rendering and contributing to design-centric projects for our web and software teams.
Luminar’s sensor creates high resolution 3D point clouds. In my time there, I learned how to wrangle and optimize these 3D clouds in a way that’s visually understandable and appealing. By working closely with our data teams, I was able to guide software development in the way that we visualize these clouds and animate them for video.
